Possibly: The brain development of the baby in the first trimester is highly dependent on maternal thyroid hormones. Babies of hypothyroid mothers may have lower iq and it is very important to have a close follow up during pregnancy if needing thyroid hormone replacement. I recommend you see an endocrinologist before trying to conveive.
