Jaw growth: Jaw growth and chronologic age do not relate well. It is possible that you have not completed bone growth because your "bone age" and your actual age don't agree. Some of the ways your bone age can be evaluated include having a wrist X-ray taken. This X-ray can be evaluated as to your actual bone age. Although this isn't totally accurate, it is a common way that doctors evaluate bone age.

Not likeley, but: body dysmorphia is a possibility. For some people, worries about appearance become extreme and upsetting, interfering with their lives and daily activities. A person with BDD is concerned about a specific body part. It usually begins during the teen years or early adulthood. See your PCP for evaluation and referral if needed.
