No pre-existing diabetes, developed gdm. now 10 weeks pp, fasting avg 125. after meals, 100. why is my fasting # so high? any chance it will resolve?

Your Diabetic...: ...If 125 is your fasting average. Whether it can be improved depends on several factors. First, this should be properly evaluated by your doctor. If your findings are confirmed, you should be treated accordingly and implement lifestyle modifications. If you are overweight, weight loss can improve your body's use of Insulin and improve or even resolve your diabetes!

Maybe: Having gdm means that you have at least a 50-50 chance of developing true diabetes at some time. At the present time you should try to lose weight, increrase your exercising and the sugar may come back to normal.
