What care should be taken while suffering from jaundice ?

Depends: It depends on why you have jaundice. Many things cause jaundice and it is best evaluated by a physician. Make sure you see a doctor.

Liver function: You should be monitored with regular blood tests for liver function and hepatitis a, b and c, you must abstain from all alcohol products until liver tests have normalized. Have a routine CBC ( blood count ) to check for anemia or red cell damage.
