Allergy: Itching and associated tingling are signs of allergic reaction. It is however not clear if it is indeed due to contact lens or you have allergic conjunctivitis. If you stop using contacts for about 1 week and if that stops your symptoms then lens is the culprit. If not then you have allergy to some environmental protein and proper treatment can be done.
