Had tender pain on right side of abdominal and back hurts. Did cat scan showed inflamed colon and GI dr said its either abcess or diverticulitis ?
Abdominal x-ray showed colon thickening. Colonoscopy came back fine. No diverticulitis, etc. Could the X-ray have been wrong or what could have been seen on x-ray that colonoscopy missed? This was x-ray and not a CT. GI did not appear concerned?
