Kidney failure?: Stage 1 chronic kidney disease (not failure), is the stage f chronic kidney disease (ckd) for patients who have a glomerular filtration rate (GFR) > 90 ml/min. Those patients have no significant kidney disease and are no where close to kidney failure.
