Yes: Usually in a young person with adequate replacemnt therapy (for life) the problems resolve. Somatosensory evoked potentials for cord involvemnt, ncv for periperal nerve involvment, cognitive testing and blood tests (cbc and b12) are available if problems persist beyond 1 year. Be sure to keep your serum B12 level above 350 or preferably above 450 if youve suffered neurological injury.
