Safe?: There seems to be very little information on this. The manufacturer is not helpful here either. In general, if it was associated with major birth defects this would be known and cautions would be given to limit its use in pregnancy (such as thalidomide). I would recommend not using it unless you have no other alternative. Most drugs are safe for baby, but you're taking a big chance with no info.
