Difficult question: Most doctors go into medicine because they like people, and most of us like most of our patients most of the time. That being said, it is difficult to treat people effectively without our boundaries, because emotional attachment can make it difficult to have objectivity about our patients. Enjoy the time you spend with her and don't take it personally if it does not develop into longterm friend.

Difficult: A doctor/patient relationship is virtually sacred and and it is sometimes very difficult to maintain the proper distance but you should probably be honest. Otherwise you probably need to find another physician so that the relationship is professional.
