Oligospermia: This is a low sperm count with low percentage of mobile sperm. A normal count is atleast 15 million per ml of ejaculate with 35% mobile. It is important to evaluate if there is an underlying cause that can be treated such as an infection, varicocelle, hormone abnormality or presence of antibody against sperm. Unfortunately, sometimes there is no treatable cause. Repeat sperm test to confirm.
