Ectopic atrial tachy: Ectopic atrial tachycardia means that your rhythm, which normally arises in specialized cells in the right atrium called "the sinus node", instead propagates from a different place in the atrium. The seriousness depends on the rate and whether there are accompanying symptoms. It may need no treatment, drug treatment, or ablation. Your cardiologist will guide you.
