A member asked:

How to know if i have got a chest infection ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chest infection: Chest, or respiratory infections, can manifest as cough, with or without sputum production, chest discomfort, fever, pain with respiration, feeling short of breath, and various combinations of these. May also just have fever and feeling unwell. Your provider can often know by doing a good lung exam, and sometimes a chest xray is needed.
