Yes: When the body goes into starvation mode - the metabolic rate can drop. Lower metabolic rate makes it easier to gain weight. The solution - get back into a normal healthy eating pattern. Take care.

That is possible: If your body goes into starvation mode- then your metabolic rate will eventually drop. This means that you will burn calories more slowly and put on weight more easily. That is one reason it is important to keep eating - even if you have to force yourself. Take care.
