Works by blocking Dopamine 2 receptors. Works within 1 wk or takes several wks.

Haloperido.: Haloperidol (Haldol) is one of the older antipsycyhotic medications. It doesn't treat the wider range of symptoms found in some of the newer anti-psychotics and sometimes can have significant side effects.
