Benign vertigo: If what you have experienced is sudden onset and associated with head motion, such as getting out of bed abruptly, but lasting for no more than a couple minutes, it may be a common benign condition called labyrinithis or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. For quick relief: keep your head still or (move in slow motion). Some anti-nausea medications are very effective. C your doc if not better.
