Time.: There is really no medicine or procedure that can improve or hasten recovery from brain damage. Your brain will heal with time. The best thing a patient can do is to push your brain. This can be easily done with puzzles (crosswords, sudoku, etc.).

Great question: This has been an active area of research for decades, first with post-stroke damage, and now post-TBI. There are some clinical trials you might want to track (clinical.trials.gov) to see if any are open / recruiting. Brain damage healing varies between people and circumstances. Neuropsych testing can show positive change in some people out to 2 years. Sorry about your injury, best wishes
