A member asked:

After a person had bacterial meningitis and was treated, what are the long term effects?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bacterial meningitis: If the treatment was started early and a cure was obtained then the long term effects can be minimal if nothing - the effects are really based on how severe the infection was at the time of treatment
