i found a mole on my leg it's black and all my moles are brown. i'm not even sure if it's new it could've already been there. what could it be?

Get it seen: Show it to your physician at your next physical exam or make an appointment if it meets the abcde criteria. A uniform black lesion is most likely a lentigo or benign nevus. http://www.dermatology.ucsf.edu/skincancer/general/types/melanoma.aspx.
