No and no: You and your husband are both young and your age difference has no negative effects on conceiving or on a subsequent pregnancy. Re: the mucus- in general the clear mucus seen near ovulation is most conducive to sperm penetration. After ovulation, in the latter part of your cycle and during pregnancy, the thickened mucus discourages sperm transport but does not stop it.

No: Younger age has nothing to do with conception. And no vaginal discharge after intercourse does not effect sperm penetration.
