Mirena (levonorgestrel) placed 8 mo. Ago. Last period- moderate bleeding for 6 days, then a brief reprieve followed by 6 days of spotting & severe cramps. Hpt?
2 wks into 3 mo Lupron shot to stop heavy periods w fibroids and still bleeding but less. Tried mirena b4 this but a lg clot ejected it within a week. Is it safe to get another Mirena during this time while bleeding less to let it get some traction?
