Now, if taken proper: Starting the first active pill of a new brand of bcps the day after you finish the last active pill of your old brand, known as "continuous use, " is fine to do. You are now and will continue to be protected from unintended pregnancy provided you took your previous brand and take this brand of bcps properly. However, your next period may come late, be heavier/ lighter or you may have spotting.
