Unlikely: There is no evidence that anesthesia produces memory problems. If you feel your child has difficulty remembering things, there are many causes for this and you should see your doctor to get the problem evaluated.

Probably not: We obviously prefer not to give multiple anesthetics to children, but sometimes it is necessary. There is not strong evidence that there is any effect on a child's memory abilities after any amount of anesthesia. I hope that this helps.
