Can you take 15mg of dexedrine while taking 40mg of lexapro (escitalopram)?

Should be OK: This combination should not be a problem. However, 40 mg of Lexapro (escitalopram) is considered an 'off-label' dosage meaning that is higher than the fda recommended daily dosage. That being said, off-label dosages and/or indications is not an uncommon prescribing practice. Questions can be addressed with the actual prescribing provider.

Combining dextroamphetamine & Lexapro may increase side effects Like "jitteriness, nervousness, anxiety, restlessness, & racing thoughts" per Drugs.Com drug interaction checker. It can also increase the risk for serotonin syndrome.
