Yes: Yes, you can still ovulate, but the birth control pill will still be effective at preventing pregnancy. If you would like to have better suppression of the ovaries, consider changing from a 20mcg estrogen pill to a 30-35mcg estrogen pill or a pill that has fewer placebo tablets at the end.
