Not safe: Sertraline oral and Mirtazapine oral both increase affecting serotonin levels in the blood. Too much serotonin is a potentially life-threatening situation. Severe signs and symptoms include high blood pressure and increased heart rate that lead to shock.

If prescribed: And followed carefully by your psychiatrist, the combination can be safe. There is potential for serotonin syndrome, and your doctor will be monitoring your response for any signs of this. Also s/he will be managing doses carefully too.
