Laminates: Ceramic laminates are highly indicated in situations like that for the front teeth . Also zirconia crowns for the back ones . That it after careful examination of all teeth and treating the decay or doing the root canal treatment if necessary . The cost of a laminate or a crown varies from one place to another . You could always ask before starting the treatment and compare the fees.

Acid reflux: Until the acid reflux is treated any dental procedures may have short life spans. Acid reflux can be quite dangerous. As to restorations, would be appropriate to seek consultation with a Prosthodontist, a specialist who specializes in restorations in medically compromised patients. There are other restorative choices besides crowns.

Acid reflux is very destructive- as mentioned a Prosthodontist may be helpful for advanced restoration. A new concept is following the building of your teeth they can be protected by a night guard combined with a protective ‘retainer gel’ using baking soda and xylitol- otherwise the acid leaks under the appliance and destroys the teeth. Lifestyle changes should be used to address GERD.
