Mucinex (guaifenesin): Mucinex or robitussin(aka guaifenisin) are safe in pregnancy, as is dextromethorphan. Avoid sudafed. Tylenol, (acetaminophen) throat lozenges, saile nasal spray are also safe. If you start having fevers, the cough persists, or feel that you are getting worse, please go see your doctor. Pregnant women are at a higher risk of complications from 'colds' that everyone else recovers from. Remember to stay hydrated.
