Yes, you can: Ativan it is in the benzodiazepine family of drugs, the same family that includes diazepam, xanax (alprazolam) and clonazepam. Ativan is effective for insomnia and panic attacks. Rec.: for more information to check with your prescribing physician. Do not self-medicate.
