Maybe: Platelet rich plasma is thought to have growth factors and cytokines that rejuvenate skin and perhaps hair follicles and matrix. As mono therapy it probably isn't so great but it may help hair transplantation Propecia (finasteride) or Minoxidil work better.

PRP is a relatively new treatment for hair loss which is showing good promise and substantial results in many reports. The impact and duration of PRP for hair regrowth depends on many factors like your age and health, degree of hair loss as well as how the doctor prepares the PRP and what ECM scaffold (if any) is used along with the PRP. Scientific HairCheck measurements can track the results.

Controversial : Prp has many uses but their efficacy is variable. I would refer to this as alternative therapy use caution.
