Diet: Fatty liver is sometimes referred to as nash. Generally an elevated level of cholesterol or triglycerides in the blood can cause fatty liver. Fatty liver can regress with lifestyle modification. It is best to decrease alcohol and fat intake or start an exercise program as directed by your physician. Sometimes medications called "statins" can assist in treating a fatty liver.

Cut out All Carbs: Body ability to store sugar low & sugar used, in small amts, before fats. Sugar (ie. All carbs) in food (beyond low ongoing needs) quickly converted by liver into fat & if liver unable to export fat fast enough; fatty liver results. Thus eliminate all carbs, including fruit, so liver has to convert fat back to sugar & ketones (quite healthy). Study dietdoctor, taubes, lusting, attia, fatheadmovie.

Possibly: Losing weight and following a low diet has occasionally reversed nonalcohlic fatty liver, especially in early stages, and at least many times reduces the amount of fatty infiltration. There is no medication that reverses fatty liver. Reducing sugars in your diet and regular exercise also helps. These measures also can help alcoholic fatty liver(must stop alcohol intake as well).
