I draw a lot recreationally, but i also crack my fingers a lot. is this bad for me and will it affect my drawing ability in the future?

No: There has been no link between cracking your knuckles and arthritis. Cracking your knuckles decreases the joint pressure and allows more motion. However, repetitive stress to a joint over time can cause arthritis and this is why many people who use their hands a lot at work develop it over time.
