Rectal vs. GYN: The symptoms you are describing could be related to constipation/colitis or could be related to endometriosis as well in your age group. I would recommend using a stool softener and if you can maintain a regular bowel regimen and your symptoms persists, you may need to consult a gyn for diagnosis and treatment of possible endometriosis of your colon/bowel.
