Yes, Anxiety: Anxiety can definitely raise your blood pressure. That's a common scenario. However, if it stays elevated for more than a couple of minutes, there may be something else going on. In that case, you should see your physician and get that checked. If you are anxious at the dentist, many of them can give you something to help you relax. Seeing a dentist should not be scary or uncomfortable nowadays.
