Couple possibilities: 1. You could be very early. Try again in a week. 2. You could have had a conception, but have had a very early miscarriage or even tubal pregnancy. Watch for pain. If you start having heavier bleeding, any pain see your doctor. They can also check an actual hormone level which could help you too.
