Can be improved: The wonderful thing about working with kids is their ability rewire past some of the injuries of cp. Pt/ot/speach therapy and other modalities can minimize the impact. He injured areas if major will always remain injured, but plasticity is a word applied to their response. Adults with the same injury don't as much ability to regain functions.

By definition - NO: Cerebral palsy is a static encephalopathy. This means that it is a stable and permanent disorder of motor control. Many children learn to control so well that they may appear normal. Their disorder is present but just so well controlled that it takes special testing to detect. Other patients are severely affected and must be in wheelchairs with casts and braces and lots of special help.
