Psychotic depression: Psychotic depression means that in addition to signs of depression you also have psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations or delusions. Examples are intense, unrealistic guilt; thoughts that one's body is deteriorating (when it's not); thoughts of extreme worthlessness; hearing voices that no one else can hear, often saying derogatory things.Changes in sleep, energy, and appetite are present too.
