A member asked:

Should i be concerned if i get dizzy when quitting dipping tobacco?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but be careful: especially with driving or operating dangerous machinery. Some dizziness occurs with quitting smoking cigarettes, so it can occur with quitting tobacco of any kind. If it is bothersome to you, the use of tapering doses of nicotine replacement therapies (patches, gum, lozenges) or just occasional gum/lozenge when you need it, should take care of the problem.
