Bleeding/many causes: Hemorrhagic shock is from bleeding, usually due to a wound from trauma, which can have excessive fluid loss. Hypovolemic shock can have many causes, like not drinking, or dehydration from diarrhea, and also hemorrhage. This is usually less severe, but some examples of diarrhea can be excessive. Both can be seen on the same spectrum of shock or fluid loss with hemorrhagic more severe/urgent.
