No, but other issues: The vapor in some e-cigs is mostly water vapor, but the propellant is an oil, propylene glycol, and there are often preservatives, stabilizers, flavorings and colorings as well. None of this stuff has been analyzed, and the companies consider them trade secrets. The FDA has asked for the authority to require the ingredients, so they can be further studied. There are no "tars" which cause cancer.

No: 1) Ecig produce vapor not smoke. Tobacco smoke has over 4000 ingredients. Ecig vapor has only what's in the liquid used - glycerine and nicotine if flavorless. 2) The expression "second-hand smoke" is a very effective piece of anti-smoking propaganda used all the time by public health officials and physicians yet there is absolutely no scientific evidence to support it's existence.
