Problem in stomach: H pylori is a bacterium, found in the human stomach that is implciated as causing gastritis, peptic ulcers and also is associated with gastric cancers and lymphomas. It is the most common chronic bacterial infection in humans, curiously. When found with duodenal ulcers for example, erradication of the organism can prevent ulcer recurrence.
