A member asked:

Can you give me suggestions if i was diagnosed simultaneously with group b strep and chlamydia - what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Confusing question: Chlamydia is a std and requires antibiotic treatment. Gbs is a relatively common gut germ that is found on the genitals of 1/3 women at any one time. It occasionally causes uti's in women and can cause infections of a newborn that is infected in labor or delivery. Treatment if needed would best be decided by yoyr treating physician based on your situation.
