Depend on severity: Need to have tight control on your diabetes. Also how was enlarge d heart diagnosed? If on echocardiogram then see a heart doctor as well. Also depends on medications you are on. Some are for the heart but also protect kidneys with a diabetic. Need to talk to your md and possible see heart md.
