Possible Reasons: Get evaluated. Dysmenorrhea can be caused by polyps, Endometriosis, Pelvic inflammatory disease, Cervical stenosis,fibroids & adenomyosis.

Adenomyosis: You may suffer from adenomyosis which is a condition where the inner lining of the uterus has grown into the uterus muscle. It can potentially be diagnosed with pelvic ultra sound or MRI. The ultimate treatment is hysterectomy - medical treatment may be more or less effective.
