How about meditation: I am not a believer or fan of the idea that there is any benefit to using psychedelic drugs. You have just as good a chance at a bad trip, a psychotic episode or recurrent flashbacks as you do of any "enlightenment." dmt is particularly dangerous. I would recommend yoga, meditation, exercise and reading the great philosophers of both east and west rather than drugging yourself into nirvana.

Not necessarily: Effects typically last 12 hours, but in any case wear off eventually although some have reported feeling strange for days.
