A member asked:

Do you know which hormones help suppress estrogen from being released in your body?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many: Are you referring to hormones made by your own body or hormones that you are prescribed? There are many disorders in which abnormal amounts of hormones are being made by your own body (testosterone, DHEA-sulfate, cortisone, prolactin, growth hormone) that will affect estrogen production. There are also many medications (antipsychotics, GNRH agonists, oral contraceptives, etc) that do the same.
