Don't know for sure: In the states that have medical marijuana about half allow its use for treatment of seizures. We know that some genetic plant strains can help with certain types of seizures where as others tend to lower the seizure threshold and make seizures more likely. Localized twitching or jerking of a part of the body may be due to focal seizure acitivity in the brain. Might want to look into this.
