Uterine lining: This "skin-like" tissue you are seeing, is the actual lining of the inside of the uterus. This lining is relatively thick, and acts as a "bed" for the ova if fertilization happens. If no fertilization and pregnancy occurs, then this lining comes out with blood and clots during her period. Perfectly normal to see this and nothing to worry about.
