A member asked:

I have inappropriate sinus tach (always 120+). does this put me at higher risk for cardiomyopathy with pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tachy: Unlikely that sinus tachycardia would lead to cardiomyopathy during pregnancy. That being said, you should be eval by a cardiologist during pregnancy with a baseline ekg and echocardiogram. A holter monitor may also be in order. I trust you have already had a work up.
