Many possibilities: However, one that comes to my mind as a neurologist is a condition known as migrainous vertigo whereby a person may have a sudden unexpected bout of spinning or dizziness and then, may have a headache either at the same time or 1-2 days later. Another possibility could be paroxysmal vertigo due to high impact aerobic exercises due to your age and possible involvement with those activities.
